NVIDIA buys Hugging Face and moves closer to the centre of the open ecosystem

NVIDIA has agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12,930.3 million. The deal brings together the dominant accelerator supplier and the leading showcase for open models, datasets and applications; the promise is to keep it neutral, but that neutrality will now have an owner.
